CONFERENCE Speakers

GUEST SPEAKERS

We are delighted to announce our Guest Speakers for 2026.

The Independent Vet Conference prioritises depth over breadth. Rather than a high volume of brief presentations, we carefully curate our speaker faculty to deliver longer, theme-led sessions designed to encourage deeper thinking, discussion, and impact.

Dr Lynda Shaw is a highly practical applied neuroscientist.  She holds a doctorate in cognitive neuroscience, specialising in unconscious processing and behavioural change.  She is also an experienced entrepreneur, having owned 3 businesses. She is an author of the business book ‘Your Brain is Boss’ and a children’s book ‘Beat the Bullies Use Your Brain’.

Lynda is a dynamic and experienced conference speaker across industries. She is also a mentor and works with senior leaders and their teams who want to tackle uncertainty, change and hidden potential.

She is Past President of the Professional Speaking Association UK&I and is the founder of Brain & Behaviour Ltd., the Leaders Learning Lab, and 901 Lunch and Learns.  She is also an adventure traveler.  In fact, one of her many passions is walking – whether at high altitudes or on the treadmill in her office – earning her the nickname “The Walking Neuroscientist.”
